KELVIN Kaindu says he asked his Dynamos players to change their mindset and start believing in themselves and let God do the rest.
The Glamour Boys are involved in a tough bid to avoid the chop from the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League. The soft-spoken coach, who was pushed out of Highlanders earlier this year, won his Battle of Zambia against Ian Bakala as the Glamour Boys powered to a 1-0 win over their biggest city rivals at Rufaro on Sunday.
The two giants now have the same number of points (32) with five games to play.
“The revival is about the beliefs I have and the players have in God. It has taken the acceptance of the players to believe in themselves,” said the Zambian gaffer.
“We still have several games (five) to play. We need to keep fighting and end at a respectable position.
“We have only asked the players to change their mindset and believe in themselves.
“We are very much grateful for the massive crowd we had on Sunday. We saw them sing and dance, which was wonderful,”
Week 29 action also pushed the league past the 456-goal mark. TelOne striker Washington Navaya remains top-scorer with 15 goals.
Scottland’s Tymon Machope and MWOS’ Billy Vheremu are on 12 each.
