Kidney patient seeks medical fees assistance

A 32-year-old Harare woman, who has been diagnosed with a kidney ailment, is appealing for assistance to raise medical fees.

Ms Rachael Musekiwa, a mother of two, can no longer afford the treatment costs. Her mother, Ms Patricia Muverengwa, said she has been footing the hospital bills, but can no longer afford the costs.

“We are appealing to well-wishers for help so that Rachael can continue with her treatment. Rachael also needs US$259 for a catheter, US$450 for insertion and US$130 for every dialysis session. Any amount of help will go a long way in helping the situation,” she said.
