Bishop B. Manjoro Dunamis
We are in a good year, a year of restoration and it is important to keep focus till the end.
If it appears like nothing has happened yet, cheer up.
A lot is happening!
It’s a matter of manifestation. So I challenge you, whoever you are, and wherever you are reading this article from; despite what is surrounding you at this very hour be joyful in the Lord for the year is not yet over!
You could be reading this from a prison cell, from the hospital bed, about to enter court, at your workplace, in transit or in whatever situation it is you have before you — I challenge you to put a smile on your face, gladden your heart, be of good courage and say to your-self, ‘It’s not over until it’s over!’
However I have a key I need to share with you at this point of the year. It’s something that will propel you to greater heights and connect you to the restoration power of the Lord in your life, business, marriage, family.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Ephesians 6:12
What you need to know and understand at this time of the year is who your real enemy is. You see when things seem to delay or go wrong there is a tendency of pointing a finger at someone or something.
You need to really know and understand who your enemy is.
Many a times people run around and do a lot of things because they think that so and so is my enemy and coming to attack me. Fear rises; focus is lost and so does mistakes increase in one’s life, marriage, church or organization.
As a child of God you have to understand this thing – you have one enemy and this one enemy is the devil.
“O pastor where do you get it from, what about all these people who are after me and my downfall?” The Word of God says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Ephesians 4:12.
Your wife is not your enemy. People, or your uncle, relatives and friends are not your enemies!
Neither the tough boss at work is. No. You have one enemy who is the devil. What he does is that he comes in different forms and shapes — but he is still the same devil.
If you say ah this year I will thoroughly deal directly with all people who are my enemies you are making a very big mistake. If you are not careful you will end up doing things you never imagined you would do, especially you.
You will end up paying witchdoctors or even engage thugs to hurt the people you see as enemies!
You deal with this person today and tomorrow a fresh one rises against you, what then do you do?
If you take a hammer from someone who is hammering you they will simply go buy another hammer and hammer you again! That’s what the devil does.
He is the man behind the hammer!
In 2017 waste no time punching the hummer, no, be wise.
Deal with the person holding the hammer and not the hammer! Deal with your real enemy, rebuke the devil in Jesus’ name and tell him, ‘Enough is enough; I now know your tricks!’ O hallelujah!
If you know who your enemy is you will live life better. Actually it’s easier to know your enemy if you know who you are.
If you don’t know yourself you will repeat the same mistakes you have been making in the past years.
Many times we point fingers at others as problem causers and yet overlook how much we ourselves can be causers of our problems.
We hear the Apostle Paul saying of himself, ‘for I know that in me (that is in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do” Romans 7:18-19.
He understood how much ‘himself’ could be a problem to himself.
In other words Paul knew himself. Friend, know your enemy and know yourself. Know what you can do and what you cannot do; your areas of strength and the areas that still need to be worked on.
Be honest with yourself. Because sometimes where we say the devil did this, my uncle did this it will be ourselves.
Have you also realized that when pointing a finger at someone, the rest of your fingers on your palm will be pointing back at you?
It means you need to be careful of yourself also.
Hallelujah!
If you buy bananas with money to buy electricity and when the electricity is cut you say, “Ah devil has attacked my house!’ No! Come on, it’s not the devil — you ate electricity money! Know yourself. Don’t be a walking grave.”
Let restoration take place in your life.
Let your eyes be opened.
Let go of grudges with people.
Let go of people, forgive and loose them from your heart. You may also need to forgive yourself.
Restoration is looking for you; create a runway for it to land.
O hallelujah!
For with God all things are possible Mark 10:27
