BULAWAYO’S Vista leisure spot will host the fifth Kokota Festival in November.

The festival, which will take place on 25 November, will continue to focus on encouraging young people to embrace the Yanos beat, which has captured the hearts of many music fans over the years.

This year’s edition of the event, which aims to discover and promote local and emerging talent, departs from tradition by leaving the comfortable surroundings of The Mitre leisure spot and forging forth into a new territory at The Vista.

The fete’s creator, Browny, will serve as the event’s host, and Empire The MC will be in charge of the flow. The Low Keys, Killer Nox, Ama Krugger, Barrack Bozza, and Blaq Eagle will also perform. Jxden, Hombod, Black Opps, Ellbee, and Jxden will also play.

The Infinity DJs, King SG, DJ Gadaffi, Sir Alvin, DJ Barar, Apple Dee, Kananjo, DJ Calvin, DJ Sweeto, DJ Ally, Vuyo The DJ, DJ Dosto, and DJ Sweeto will all be behind the decks.

According to Browny, planning is going well, and they intend to add additional performers to the schedule.

“We are ready to host the Kokota Festival for the fifth time running and we are happy with how the event has grown and be oversubscribed.

“This has given us much more zeal to host the event as we feel it will play a pivotal role in uplifting the careers of our young artistes to higher levels,” said Browny.
