Korean food festival on cards

The Korean Embassy will this coming Tuesday host the Korean Food Festival with Korean cuisines set to be presented.

Running under the theme of Harmony of Flavours, Harmony of Minds, Harmony of the World, the Korean Embassy has also invited three Korean cuisine professors from Jeonju.

The festival will be hosted at the Korean Ambassador’s residence will feature Korean food culture with Messages of Unity and Harmony.

“At the festival, Korean cuisines representing harmony of different ingredients, colours. Regions and seasons will be present.

A ceremony of mixing BiBimBap (Mixed Rice with meat and assorted vegetables), one of Korea’s representative cuisines symbolising harmony which originated from Jeonju city, will be held during the festival,” reads part of the communication from the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, HE Cho Jaichel.
