Gospel stars Kudzie Nyakudya and Bethany Pasinawako-Ngolomi will be reunited under one roof tomorrow during a family show at Mtangaz Gardens Hideout in Ruwa.

Evangelist Timothy, Pastor Norest Matende, Rumbi Zvirikuzhe and Trymore Bande are also part of the line-up.

Lyngo Beatz is behind the family show set to bring families together.

In an interview with The Herald Arts, show spokesperson and fellow performer, Evangelist Timothy, said it was all systems go.

“We are hosting a big family show on Saturday (tomorrow) at Mtangaz Hideout as we gear up for Christmas. Our headlining acts are Bethany and Kudzie Nyakudya, who made waves at the turn of the new millennium,” he said.

“The two have a track record and we can trace their footprints on the showbiz scene.

Evangelist Timothy urged families to come in numbers and praise the Lord on song and dance.

“This show is for the families and people who love gospel music and our producer Lyton Ngolomi’s initiative,” he said. “Ngolomi is a producer who has gone out of his way to promote fellow artistes after realising that most promoters shunned us.

“We are happy that we are doing something of our own and we pray that people show up in numbers.”

Evangelist Timothy promised fireworks at the event.

“We are promising a show to remember and right now we are busy with rehearsals in the studio,” he said.

“We urge families to show up in numbers and worship the Lord with us this Saturday. As God’s servants, we are going to deliver our show.

“In my capacity, I promise to usher out all the artistic verve as we end the year on a high note.”  Judging by the line-up, the show has all the ingredients of being a thriller.

Nyakudya is an energetic performer, while Bethany has more than 20 years in the game, and is a good dancer too.

Bande is also a tried and tested performer with a rich catalogue of songs.

As for Pastor Matende, he sings from their heart and he takes the stage seriously.

Zvirikuzhe is not new to the industry.
