OPPOSITION MDC-T’s Ward 9 Councillor Edson Kurebgaseka was this afternoon elected Gweru’s new deputy mayor at a special council meeting held to replace CCC’s Cleopas Shiri who was recalled last week.
Clr Kurebgaseka got eight votes against Councillor Jefta Zvidzai of CCC who polled four votes.
