Kuwadzana 1 High Gospel Praise Team has released an album titled “Wenyasha” which they expect to rock the gospel charts.
The 10-track album features songs like “Anondida Jesu”, “Jonah”, “Mwari wakanaka”,”Emmanuel” and “Tarira Uone”.
The title track describes the love and grace of God. The album also narrates a typical case in the Bible of a man who stayed on the pool of Bethsaida for more than 30 years failing to find a person who could throw him into the healing waters. All he needed was the grace of God and when that happened he got healed.
The gospel team’s director Tafadzwa Gideon expressed their joy over the success of their first project.
“We are happy and we thank God that finally our project was successful regardless of the challenges we met along the way. To all gospel fans we promise nothing but the best. We are offering you the best and our songs cater for all age groups, he said.
The gospel group composed of Upper Six students shot a video for the title track “Wenyasha”.
“We have shot a video for the song ‘Wenyasha’ soon it will be showing on television,” said Gideon.
“This project is the brainchild of All School Media owned by Tafadzwa Gideon that specialises in identifying and promoting the upcoming talents.
The music project was funded by the school’s administration.
