Kwekwe United will appear before the the Castle Lager Premier Soccer league disciplinary comittee for failure to fullfill the Herentals fixture.
PSL confirmed today saying Kwekwe stand charged for breaching the League’s rules and regulations.
“Kwekwe United FC has been charged with breaching order 31 of the PSL Rules and Regulations which states that it is an act of misconduct on the part of a club where: it fails to fulfill a fixture for which a date and venue have been fixed by the league… Behaves in a manner, which brings the league or any of its sponsors into disrepute or endangers the welfare of the league.”
The PSL said the hearing is set for 5 May at their offices.
Judging form precedent, Kwekwe United look set to lose the three points to Herentals on a 3-0 scoreline while further punishment could fall on them.
