ZIMBABWE Women Premier Soccer League have awarded three points to Kwekwe United after finding Herentals Queens guilty of causing the postponment of their match.

The match between the two teams failed to kickoff earlier in the season after hosts Herentals failed to secure a match venue in time.

Intially, ZWPSL had come up with a ruling that fined Herentals and then ordered the match to be played at a later date.

However, an appeal was made by Kwekwe, leading to the Theresa Maguraushe led executive to re-evaluate the case.

Now Kwekwe have been awarded with three points while the replay order has been set aside, but Herentals will still pay the fines.
