LATEST: Constitutional Court reserves judgment on wilful HIV transmission

The Constitutional Court today reserved judgment in a case in which two women are challenging the constitutionality of the law that criminalises the transmission of HIV.
Chief Justice Chidyausiku, sitting with eight other judges heard arguments from the lawyers representing Ms Pitty Mpofu and Ms Samukelisiwe Mlilo as well as those representing the State before deferring judgment to an undisclosed date.
