LATEST: Dr Herbert Murerwa appointed Zesa chairman

Energy and Power Development  Minister Dzikamai Mavhaire today announced the board members of Zesa Holdings and nine other energy state enterprises.

Former Lands and Rural Resettlement Minister Dr Herbert Murerwa is the Zesa Holdings chairman and will be deputised by the power utility’s former chief executive Engineer Benjamin Rafemoyo.

Other subsidiaries whose members have been appointed include the Zimbabwe Power Company, the newly set up Kariba Hydro Power Company, Zimbabwe Electricity Distribution and Transmission Company, Zesa Enterprises, PowerTel, NOIC, PetroTrade, Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority and the Rural Electrification Agency.
