THE Professor Welshman Ncube-led MDC has suffered a telling blow as its Bulawayo provincial spokesperson, Mr Edwin Ndlovu, has quit the party to concentrate on his studies.

At a media conference late this morning, Mr Ndlovu dismissed speculation that he was crossing the floor to the Morgan Tsvangirai-led MDC-T. He said if he was to return to to active politics in future, he would rejoin MDC.

On March 14, 2014 the MDC boat was rocked when two key executives, Mr Edward Mkhosi and Mr Siyabonga Malandu Ncube, both former legislators, defected to MDC-T at a poorly attended rally at Stanley Square in Bulawayo.

The two were reportedly unhappy with the alleged imposition of Ms Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga in Umzingwane District, Matabeleland South and wanted to quit.
