How Mine FC’s buoyant mood has been dampened as no officials from the Nigerian Football Association or Bayelsa United have pitched at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos to welcome them.

Chronicle senior sports reporter, Ricky Zililo, who is on assignment said “We’ve been here for three hours and it is highly likely we will sleep in Lagos because Bayelsa is over 400 km from here. There’s been no communication from NFA or Bayelsa to this point,” he said.

How Mine take on Bayelsa on Saturday, they left for Nigeria yesterday without their tried and tested veteran defender Herbert Dick.
