LATEST: Mwanjali’s freedom bid falters

Harare magistrate Mr Tendai Mahwe has dismissed Method Mwanjali’s application challenging his placement on remand  and formally remanded him in custody to May 4.

The Caps United captain, who is charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing Tonderai Nhunzi twice in a fit of rage at Longcheng Plaza, was advised to apply for bail at the High Court.

His teammate Archford Gutu was further remanded out of custody to May 4 on separate charges of malicious damage to property.
