Legendary Sounds, a group of DJs hailing from Harare’s popular Red Fox Club set the stage alight with a scintillating performance that left a sizeable crowd baying for more.
In a performance that was a replica of the previous Friday, Legendary Sounds hit the stage at around 10pm to huge excitement of the revellers.
The duo of DJ Smiley and Vancho right away got the crowd going by playing Jah Cure’s You Will Never Find, which was greeted by loud cheers from those in attendance.
The duo was not content with just seeing out their set, but also got close and personal with the fans.
DJ Smiley invited one hysteric fan on stage for a dance, and she put up a scintillating display that would have left Zimbabwe’s esteemed raunchy dancers, Bev and Zoey, green with envy if they had been in attendance.
The night also saw the two play host to one on one dance battles, which saw revellers go head to head to see who the best on the dance floor was.
As they had done last week legendary Sounds switched from reggae to house music much to the delight of revellers who danced the night away. Legendary Sounds wrapped up their set at around 5am the next day.
General Manager at the club, Andrew Nzombe said they had decided to bill the group for a show for the second week running following requests by their patrons who wanted to see the duo live in action again.
“This was another great reggae night and the support that the group received last Friday shows that Bulawayo loves reggae. As Club Forty we will continue giving the people what they want because at the moment the club is the place to be among many revellers in the city,” he said.
