ZIMBABWE’s CAF Schools Under-15 team skipper and Legends Football Academy starlet Tadiwa Joshua Chakuchichi is having another dream opportunity to train with some of Europe’s top clubs.
Two years ago, Chakuchichi was part of the Legends Academy cast that toured the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy in Portugal.
Yesterday Chakuchichi underwent a technical training session at English Premiership side Everton’s FC Finch Farms.
Legends are in partnership with the Toffees as part of the Everton International Academy Affiliate Programme.
The programme gives local youngsters quality training in Zimbabwe and access to the latest techniques and methods. Legends have been a leader in producing quality young footballers for the local and regional leagues and the vari-ous national teams.
Everton international academy coach Sean Robertson took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his happiness at having Chakuchichi at their training ground.
“Great to have TJ over for a technical session at Finch Farm today.
“TJ travelled from our affiliate partner Legends Football Academy which is headed by Farai Dhliwayo.
“Looking forward to another exciting year working with Farai and all the coaches and players at Legends,” wrote Robertson.
