Lieutenant General Sanyatwe sworn in as Sports Minister

President Mnangagwa has sworn in Lieutenant General Anselem Sanyatwe (Retired) as the Minister of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture at a ceremony held at State House in Harare.

Vice Presidents Dr Constantino Chiwenga and Cde Kembo Mohadi attended the event, along with other senior Government officials.

Lieutenant General Sanyatwe (Rtd) assumes the role following the departure of Kirsty Coventry, who was recently elected as president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
