LONDON. – Jeff Bezos is set to join the minted club of Premier League owners.
The Amazon chief is reportedly part of an investment group closing in on a deal to buy a minority stake in Liverpool.

- Liverpool – FSG + Jeff Bezos consortium* – £265bn+
As it stands, Liverpool are not even in the top 10 when it comes to the wealth of their owners, despite being the joint most successful club in England in terms of league titles, and the clear best in terms of European trophies.
Fenway Sports Group bought Liverpool in 2010, but they could now see their capital bolstered by the Bezos backed syndicate which also includes Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin – worth £25bn – and the mega wealthy Bhatia. – The Sun
