PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa is today expected to preside over the 5th Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences (MSUAS) graduation ceremony at its Fernhill Campus just outside Mutare.
President Mnangagwa, who is the Chancellor of all State universities, will cap 204 graduates, while top achievers will receive awards.
The event is running under the theme: “Empowered Graduates for a Technology-Driven Economy”.
MSUAS specialises in Applied Sciences, Medical and Health Sciences, Mineral Sciences, Forestry Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, and Tourism and Hospitality in its quest to contribute to the sustainable economic development of Zimbabwe through intensive utilisation of land, value addition and beneficiation of the country’s natural resources.
The stage is set for the graduation ceremony, with Cabinet ministers, senior Government officials, MSUAS staff and dignitaries from other higher learning institutions already at the venue.
