ENGLISH football giants, Liverpool are reported to be close to signing England-born Zimbabwean teenage sensation, Trey Nyoni on a long-term deal.

The 16-year-old has spent the better part of his career at Leicester City and is set for a big move to Merseyside to join the Reds.
Leicester are reported to have been desperate to keep their prodigy but the Merseyside giants ended up winning the race. Nyoni, a promising rising midfielder will join Liverpool’s Under-18 side.
He is one of the promising youngsters in England’s development leagues.
After 10 years in the Foxes camp, Nyoni, through his social media, confirmed that he will be leaving the side. He featured for Leicester in the Under-18 Premier League last season at the age of just 16.
Attaching a picture of himself as a young boy in Leicester colours, where he grew up, Nyoni thanked the side for all the memories and wished them luck in the future.
“Thank you, Leicester City Football Club. I am grateful to all the players and staff at the club who have helped me develop over the past 10 years and I wish nothing but success to everyone at the club,” Nyoni posted.

In 13 appearances for Leicester City last season, he found the back of the net on two occasions as his side finished in position nine of the 12 team standings. Leicester City competes in the South group of the league while his new home, Liverpool competes in the North group.
Nyoni has already represented England at Under-16 level and was part of the team that won the Montaigu Tournament. The prestigious tournament has hosted players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, Thiery Henry, Andre Pirlo, Karim Benzema and Carlos Tévez among others.
He is also tipped to break into the England Under-21 side soon. — @brandon_malvin
