to all provinces.
Ten schools from each of Zimbabwe’s 10 administrative provinces during last week’s Book Week at the National Art Gallery Harare.

A publisher, Ms Tendai Vutuza said the donation was part of a social responsibility and re-branding exercise by Longman Zimbabwe.
“We are excited that Longman has finally managed to stamp its authority in the market. We are market oriented by the way and this confirms the dominance we have in the industry.

“The harsh economy had slowed down operations but with the current stability we managed to release these books to the nation,” she said.
Longman unveiled new text-books in Mathematics, Shona, Faith in Action and Living and Working Together including five novels.

Deputy Prime Minister Authur Mutambara commissioned the release of his father, Mr Philemon Joseph Mutambara’ novel Nziramasango.
The new books are consistent with the new syllabus that has been in existence since 2006.
