LUSAKA. – President Edgar Lungu says United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema will be retired after today, because he never learns lessons from his past mistakes.
He said Zambians will decide who they want to be president today.
Speaking in Kitwe this week, Lungu said he is aware that some opposition leader had approached his financers with promises of giving them back the Zambian mines.
He said the opposition leader had not drawn lessons from the past mistakes he made and it was about time to teach him a life time lesson.
“I have a report that some people who sold the mines, have promised their financiers that once they win, they will give back the mines to them, especially KCM. This is the truth am saying. But what is sad is that this person does not learn,” Lungu said.
“The desire by HH to sell the mines to those people will not be tolerated.”
He said people should be taught lessons if they do not want to listen.
“It is important to teach people a lesson especially nga Bali incorrigible. Ulya muntu ali incorrigible, mu checking mu dictionary. Niba Incorrigible. Tafwaya kuchinja iyo. He messed up the country yet he is still talking of selling, selling.”
Lungu urged international observers to just monitor and not to interfere in the electoral process. – Mwebantu.com
