THE Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development together with the Zimbabwe Education Fund Trust are set to host the Lupane Business Expo from Monday to Tuesday.
The business expo that will take place at Lupane Local Board open space will run under the theme: “Promoting Business growth through market linkages for sustainable economic development.”
Minister, Dr Sithembiso Nyoni is set to deliver the keynote address. The business expo will be characterised by exhibitions and presentations on SMEs Access to Finance and GBV Awareness, networking, prize-giving ceremony as well as various forms of entertainment.
The Zimbabwe Education Fund Trust said: “Lupane Business Expo will transform the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in both Lupane and Binga.
A target of 2 000 girls and women to be trained in making reusable pads has been set and all the proceeds from the Expo will be channelled to this project through Zimbabwe Education Fund Trust. Moreover, the Lupane Business Community will benefit through intra-market linkages from different business spheres.”
Zimbabwe Education Fund Trust is a non-profit making organisation that assist vulnerable orphans and children in Lupane District.
