Zimdancehall music star Ma9Nine is working on his debut album, which he expects to release before the end of the year.

The artiste is among several local performers billed to take the stage at this year’s Independence Gala, set for Saturday night, April 18, at Minda High School grounds.

Ma9Nine said he views this year as a major step in his musical growth, anchored by the release of his first full-length project.

“I’ve started to work on my first album that will have nine tracks and definitely many features. Once all is done in the studio, I’ll announce the official launch date,” he said.

He added that performing at galas remains a key part of his journey and brand development.
“I’ve performed at quite a number of galas and it’s always an honour to perform there as it’s very good for the brand,” said Ma9Nine.

“Fans should expect a lit performance.”
