SUNGURA music kingpin Alick “Baba Shero” Macheso is billed to perform in Gwanda on October 16, bringing a star-studded line-up to the mining town.
The legendary musician, renowned for his energetic stage performances, will headline the show alongside Zimdancehall chanter Jah Signal.
Gwanda’s fast-rising acts Msaigwa, Freddy K and Rich Flavour will also perform, with MC Kay One hosting the event.
DJs Virus, Mbobstar, Keitho, Skot Mangena and SKB will keep revellers entertained on the decks.
Event organiser DJ Keitho said the gig would mark the start of an exciting summer entertainment season.
“Summer is a season when we bring entertainment galore to our revellers, and that time has come. There is no better way to kick things off than by having a legend open the dance floor,” he said.
