Madam Boss recovering well

Barely a week after coming from South Africa where she was invited as a guest among other African celebrities for the Universal Plus launch party, comedienne Tyra Chikocho, affectionately known as Madam Boss, was enthusiastic about the Kadoma show where Jah Prayzah and Makhadzi were performing.

The show was scheduled for last Saturday at Odyssey Lodge.

Madam Boss and her team were involved in a road accident along Bulawayo Road soon after the Norton tollgate.

They were driving a Discovery 4 vehicle.

Organisers of the show later confirmed the accident, resulting in local disc jockey, Lroy, replacing Madam Boss.

Social media has been abuzz with the news and her management has issued a statement updating her fans on the accident, which left her car extensively damaged.

“Thank you for your prayers and support. Tyra and her team members have, and are still receiving medical attention. They are in the process of recuperating.

“As they are recuperating, we appeal to all stakeholders to help ease the condition by refraining from taking, posting and distributing videos, pictures and any material that invades their privacy.

“Once again, thank you for the prayers and support. We will constantly update you. God bless you all,” reads the statement.
