AWARD winning Bulawayo comedian MaForty seems to be the most wanted man in Zimbabwe as he has a fully packed schedule that will see him performing almost every day until the Intwasa Festival.

Hubert Dumisani who is popularly known as MaForty in comedy circles, who also bagged the Outstanding Comedian Award in the Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards, shrugging away the competition of Mandla da Comedian and Clive Chigubhu, seems to be riding high and also looks unstoppable in elevating his career to greater heights.

“On Friday I performed at a comedy night at Alliance Franchise Old Mutual Theatre and this was organised by Simuka Comedy Night and on Saturday I performed at Sopranos Café, he said.

The 26-year-old comedian said he will also be performing at the prestigious Shoko Festival Comedy Night.

“Before I even take a breath, I will be performing at one of the big stages Shoko Festival Comedy Night and I will share the stage with the likes of Farham Esat (South Africa) and the veteran Zimbabwean comedian Michael K and many others,” said MaForty.

After finishing in Harare he will find himself in the City of Kings at the Intwasa Arts Festival Comedy Night.

“After Shoko I will perform in the Intwasa Arts Festival Comedy night, I am elated because I will be reunited with Nceku and T1nda as a follow up show that we had on 27 July,” he said.

He further said he will be hosting a one-man show that will be more political.

“I recently announced my one-man show called Press Conference that will be held on 27 October at Bulawayo Theatre, the show will be political and will have more roast, with the roast panel that will have Ntando Van Moyo and Ms Dee to mention just a few,” said MaForty.
