The trial of Prophet Walter Magaya, leader of the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries, who is facing five counts of rape, has been postponed once again.

The matter has now been rescheduled to 10 March.

Lead prosecutor, Mr Clemence Chimbari requested the postponement citing scheduling conflicts as the prosecution team is also handling another trial involving Magaya today.

Presiding magistrate Mr Francis Mapfumo postponed the matter and directed that the trial continue on the new date.

Mr Chimbari told the court that the State will serve the defence with all necessary documents by Thursday to facilitate the proceedings.
