Herentals Queens goalkeeper Lindiwe Magwede has bounced back into the Mighty Warriors fold.
The lanky goalkeeper who conceded only five goals in 25 league games for the champions last year was overlooked for the Cosafa tournament last November.
But she has been recalled for the crucial Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola next month.
Mighty Warriors coach Sithethelelwe “Kwinji 15” Sibanda included the former Cyclone Queens shot-stopper in her expanded provisional squad that will go into camp on Sunday.
Magwede headlines the four-member goalkeeping list which also has Precious Mudyiwa of Black Rhinos, Vanessa Lunga of Chapungu and Maningi’s Sasha Machona.
FC Platinum Royals defender Nokhulhanya “Chicken” Ndlovu has also been named in the squad after missing out last time.
