BULAWAYO is set for a night of praise, worship and spiritual reflection as Gospel minister Dr Mai Mwamuka is set to host the fourth edition of the Mega Worship Well, at Agape Mission Auditorium in Nketa 7 on October 16.

The all-night vigil, which brings together Gospel ministers and worshippers from different backgrounds, is aimed at creating an atmosphere where people can encounter God through music, prayer and the teaching of the Word.

The event will feature a diverse line-up of gospel acts, with Apostle Miriam Chaka as the guest of honour. Other performers include Vuyi Sax, Minister Kgomotso, Apostle A. Murwira, Memory Mapepa, Mai Mudenda, Beke Mguni, Tehila Testament, Dunamis Men, ZAOGA Nketa LMC and Vocal Ex, among others.

The gathering is open to everyone, regardless of their religious background or personal circumstances.

Mai Mwamuka, who is hosting the gathering, said the event goes beyond performances, with its central focus being to inspire believers to deepen their relationship with God and put their faith into practice.

“This Mega Worship Well is meant to make people meet God. It is done for the purpose of revealing God’s presence in our lives. Therefore, let’s live the message of God, let’s practise what the Word tells us,” she said.

Mwamuka said the decision to make the event accessible to all was rooted in its broader spiritual purpose of bringing people together through worship and the message of God.

“The event is accommodating everyone despite the circumstances and it is for free. Everyone is warmly welcomed. The aim is to worship God together, as we have more power if we pray together in one voice,” she said.

Now in its fourth edition, Mega Worship Well has grown into a gathering that its Mai Mwamuka said it is touching lives through Gospel music and the sharing of the Word.

She said the previous edition attracted more than 1 000 people, prompting the organisers to select a venue capable of accommodating a larger congregation as the event continues to grow.

“Each edition of Worship Well shows growth in different ways and it is transforming many lives, as witnessed by testimonies from those who have been touched by the Word of God through Gospel in previous editions. This time around, we are siming at attracting more people,” she said.

The upcoming edition comes as Gospel gatherings continue to provide platforms for worshippers to congregate, share their faith and find spiritual encouragement through music.

For Mai Mwamuka, the measure of success will not simply be the number of people who fill the auditorium, but the impact of the message long after the final song has been sung.

As preparations gather pace, worshippers are expected to converge on Nketa 7 for a night that promises a blend of praise, worship and reflection, with Mwamuka urging attendees to carry the teachings of the Word into their everyday lives.
