A BULAWAYO man allegedly raped and impregnated his 15-year-old domestic worker.
Nicodemus Moyo, 29, appeared before Western Commonage magistrate Sibongile Msipa-Marondedze charged with rape.
Moyo was not asked to plead and remanded in custody to November 10.
He was also advised to apply for bail at the High court.
Prosecuting, Mufaro Mageza said on August 26 at about 1PM, the victim called Moyo into the house to have lunch.
Upon entering the house, Moyo grabbed the complainant from behind and stuffed a cloth into her mouth before undressing her, the court heard.
Mageza told the court that Moyo threatened to kill the maid if she told anyone.
“The teenager was taken for a medical check up on October 14 and a medical report can be produced before the court,” said Mageza.
