Majalisa promises memorable show

SOUTH Africa’s disco music queen Patricia Majalisa has promised a night to remember when she performs at the Bulawayo Amphitheatre on Saturday evening.

Supported by Majalisa Entertainment stable musicians, Mpendulo, Silindile, Neo Mapaka, Vuyelwa, Nickie and Ludwe Maki, the concert will feature performances from Zimbabwe’s Khuxxman and Gregory.

Speaking from her Cape Town-base, the Uwee hit-maker said: “Fans should be ready for a performance that’ll keep them on their feet. My performance will comprise of old time favourites such as Umona, Uwee and Emapatini which I’ll mix with new stuff,” said Majalisa.

The artiste, who left Cape Town yesterday and is expected in Zimbabwe tomorrow, said she would meet fans then.

“I’m excited to be performing in Bulawayo after having last performed there two years ago. People there are always welcoming and I’m looking forward to making history with them.”
