South African musician Makhadzi is slowly but surely finding her way back to what she loves most, making music, after sustaining injuries in a road traffic accident last year.
The multi-award-winning singer, who was injured while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on December 31, 2025, for a scheduled performance, has returned to the studio as she continues her recovery.
Taking to Facebook on Wednesday, the energetic performer reassured fans that although she is still healing, she has not stopped working on new music.
“Khadzinators, as long as the mouth and the voice are still working, we are on it when we get a chance, while waiting to come back to the stage. At this point, I don’t know which songs to start with. We have 10 songs locked already. Prince Benza already did some magic,” she wrote.
Her update sparked excitement among fans, many of whom flooded her page with messages of support and well-wishes.
Born Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, Makhadzi is undergoing a 10-week recovery process. Despite the setback, her determination to remain creative has impressed supporters, who are eagerly anticipating her return to live performances.
