Makorokoza invade Marondera

Dancehall musician Shadreck Kwarire who is popularly known as King Shady will tonight perform at Legends Bar in Marondera.
Shady, who is one of the most celebrated dancehall artistes in the country, said he is a man of endless ideas and will do his best to thrill fans in Marondera.
“We are ready to conquer Marondera as Makorokoza Choir and a lot is expected at the show,” he said.
Shady has been under fire from several musicians for doing renditions of their songs without permission.

“That is the idea of endless ideas and when we go to Marondera we are will give them a sample of my upcoming album that is also full of surprises,” he said.
“That will be our first show in Marondera this year and we are promising  the best. People have heard some of our new songs and the response has been good so far,” he a dded.

Show promoter Dainel Masaiti said they wanted to bring a variety to their joint and give a chance to King Shady introduce himself to the people in Marondera.
“We don’t select artistes but we give them equal chances to perform. This is his chance to present what he has to offer,” he said.

Legends bar has brought life to the usually sleepy town of Marondera and a number of artistes have performed at the joint.
