Makwasha in Dubai for live dvd recording

Gospel musician Mellisa Makwasha is in Dubai where she is expected to feature on a live dvd recording tomorrow. 

The Forward in Faith (FIF) One Assembly, Dubai is  recording its debut live album titled the ” The Desert Worship Experience ” at Desert Palm Resort. 

In an interview, Makwasha told The Herald Arts and Entertainment that she was excited to be part of the album. 

“I am really excited to be part of this great project and this is my first musical international trip in my personal capacity,” she said. 

In the past Makwasha travelled across the globe with ZimPraise Choir where she is one of the lead vocalists. 

Makwasha, fondly known as Mai Advisor on social media where she commands a huge following said she was ready to deliver a top notch act. 

The FIF One Assembly music director and album producer Ngoni Gwasira said all was set for the recording. 

“All is set for the live dvd recording which happens to be our first musical project and our guests artistes are already here with us,” he said. 

Gwasira said the album consists of 19 uplifting tracks. 

“This album is unique in the sense that it incorporates different genres and languages. 

“There is one Arabic track, two Shona songs and the rest are English songs to cater for our international fans,” he said. 

Gwasira said gospel diva Talita Prinsolo from South Africa is also featuring on the album.
