Pretoria- The Lucas “Masterpieces” Moripe stadium in Atteridgeville, Pretoria, erupted into jubilation and cheers yesterday when Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema arrived. Thousands cheered as he walked around the pitch waving to his followers. Others risked injury by climbing on top of the perimeter fence just to get a glimpse of him.

Malema shook the hand of one of the supporters on the fence to loud applause from thousands.
The entire stadium crowd were on their feet screaming “yes, yes”, with hands in the air.

A light aircraft flew in the vicinity of the stadium with a Democratic Alliance banner urging people to vote for the DA on May 7, as Malema was busy with his walk about. – Sapa
