MUSICIAN Sikhosana Buhlungu’s life is taking shape for the better as well-wishers have given him a new lease of life after assisting him to set up a decent home in Nkayi.
The two-bedroomed house under construction comes after his handlers set up a fundraising campaign to assist the 49-year-old artiste.
The fundraising also saw the Ntethe hitmaker being given four cows and ten goats.
Speaking from his rural Nkayi village, Malume Skhosi, who has been a struggling musician for 15 years, hailed the support.
“Honestly I am now a people’s project. Many people have really gone out of their way to see to it that l get a dignified home and l own cattle.
“Martin Ndolwane once said sisonke sibambene sizakulungisa and am seeing the power of that now. A united people do more and l pray tht this spirit lives with us for ever. Sithandane sisizane vele izandla zabantu azilingani.
“I’m very grateful to everyone who contributed sithi izulu landise,” said Malume Skhosi.
The house is being built by his cousin Bigboy Moyo, a builder, and is expected to be completed before year end. — @mthabisi_mthire
