A MAN from New Magwegwe suburb realised that the courtas decision has to be respected when he found himself behind bars for going to his fatheras house.
Fortune Robert Nyathi (43) was arrested on contempt of court charges after he went to his fatheras house 2277 in New Magwegwe.
Nyathi went against the court orders as his father Simeon Nyathi (64) had applied for a protection order against him citing that he did not want to see him at his house because he was disturbing his peace.
When Nyathi unexpectedly visited his father, he was swiftly reported to police leading to his arrest.
He was hauled before magistrate Stephen Ndlovu and he pleaded guilty to the charges.
Nyathi told the court that he had turned into a destitute, that was the reason which forced him to go back to his home after several failed attempts to find a place of his own.
However, the magistrate sentenced him to three months imprisonment and they were wholly suspended on condition he performs 105 hours community service.
The court heard that on an unknown date, but during the month of October 2016, Nyathi failed to comply with terms and conditions of court order P/O 56/ 16 issued at Tredgold Magistrates court that barred him from entering house number 2277 New Magwegwe.
Nyathias father applied for a protection order on 29 January 2016 and it was been granted in his favour. .
