A MAN (53) has appeared in court facing charges of indecently assaulting his niece (10).
In a statement, the National Prosecuting Authority said the accused appeared before Masvingo Magistrates’ court facing allegations of lifting the complainant and fondling her chest and buttocks when she came to collect eggs at his residence on 19 October 2023.
“The complainant screamed for help prompting the accused person to release her. She went back home where she reported the matter, leading to the accused person’s arrest on the 6 November 2023,” reads the statement.
