Man loses vehicle to thieves while buying food

 A KWEKWE man lost a vehicle and other valuables after he left the vehicle’s engine running while buying food.

 The complainant, whose name was not revealed, lost a Nissan Caravan motor vehicle, police confirmed.

 “Police confirm a case of theft of a motor vehicle which occurred in Kwekwe on 22 September 2023 around 10PM. The complainant left the engine of the car running while buying food. Upon his return 3 minutes later, he found the car gone,” said Midlands Police Spokesperson, Inspector Emmmanuel Mahoko.

 The vehicle was stolen together with six brand new tyres, a spare wheel, and a mobile phone.
