A TEENAGE woman, who was employed to work in a tuck shop, became a sex slave of her employer who raped her whenever his wife was not around.
The 17-year-old girl had been lured from the rural areas to work in a tuck shop in Tafara, Mabvuku.
Kudakwashe Rosari allegedly then turned from employer into a monster and repeatedly raped her.
On the first night, according to the police, Kudakwashe gave his employee blankets and ordered her to sleep in the tuck shop.
His wife was not around and he went to sleep in his room.
After some time, Kudakwashe returned to the tuck shop and raped her.
He threatened to kill her if she revealed the matter to anyone.
The employee begged Kudakwashe to take her back to the village and he refused.
The following day, at around 8pm, Kudakwashe ordered her to sleep in his room while he would sleep in the tuckshop, and she complied.
At around 9pm, he unlocked the room and raped her several times.
The employee took advantage of his sleep, unlocked the door, and fled.
She looked for a police station, where she reported her case.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case and appealed for information that may lead to the arrest of Kudakwashe.
“Police are investigating a rape case involving an employer and his employee in New Tafara.
“The complainant was referred to Edith Hospital for medical examinations and the accused person is on the run,” said Insp Chakanza.
