Man rapes chicken to death

MUTARE villagers were left clucking in disbelief after a 19-year-old man was caught pants down in a bizarre act of bestiality with a chicken at Piki Village, Chief Zimunya.

Carrington Mutasa will spend the next few months doing community service after Mutare Magistrates Court found him guilty of sexually abusing a hen.

According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ), Mutasa sneaked into a neighbour’s homestead on 16 September around 5:30pm when no one was home.

“He unlawfully entered the victim’s fowl run, grabbed a hen and engaged in sexual activity with it,” read the statement.

However, the chicken caper quickly unravelled when the victim’s granddaughter spotted Mutasa leaving the fowl run looking flustered. Suspicious, she rushed to tell her grandmother, who went to inspect her prized birds.
What she found was a scene straight out of a horror movie.

“The victim discovered that the hen had a large hole on its cloaca area,” said the NPAZ.

The furious granny raised alarm, rallying neighbours to hunt down the suspect. Villagers quickly cornered Mutasa and dragged him back to the homestead where he shamefully confessed to the sick act.

A report was made at Zimunya Police Post, and the chicken lover was promptly arrested.
Mutasa was slapped with an eight-month jail sentence, but three months were suspended for five years. The remaining five months were set aside on condition that he completes 175 hours of community service.

The NPAZ used the case to send a strong warning.
“Let’s work together to protect animals and promote a culture of compassion and respect,” the statement read, adding the hashtag #StopAnimalCruelty.

The bizarre case has left the village stunned, with locals vowing never to look at their chickens the same way again.
Recently, in a shocking incident that left the Figtree community in Matabeleland South province stunned, a 33-year-old man from Cliffton Farm was arrested for allegedly having sex with three goats, two of which died during the acts, reportedly from exhaustion.

Brighton Mkandla allegedly raped goats belonging to Cecilia Sibanda (85) and Mayibongwe Ndlovu (28), resulting in their deaths, before he was also caught red-handed romping with Elmon Ndlovu’s (65) goat.
