Man rapes stepdaughter, court told

On April 18, the girl asked for her shoes from her stepfather as she wanted to go to the borehole.
The man suddenly grabbed the girl and pulled her into the bedroom where he raped her once.

The 28-year old man has since appeared before Chinhoyi magistrate Mr Felix Mawadze facing rape charges.
He was remanded in custody to  May 3.

Prosecutor Mr Vote Zishiri alleges that the man only released the girl after she continued screaming in pain and bleeding.
His wife returned later in the evening and the girl narrated her ordeal leading to the man’s arrest.
