Man stabbed over beer sharing

A-22-YEAR-Old man from Plumtree is battling for life in hospital after he was stabbed several times on the buttocks, arms and face for refusing to share beer.

Mr Kadefuna Sebele of Madlambuzi area, under Chief Madlambuzi, sustained serious injuries after Mlungisi Dube (18) viciously attacked him on Sunday around 8PM.

Police said villagers apprehended Dube after the attack.

Mr Sebele’s condition is said to be critical and he is admitted to Plumtree District Hospital.

The two had been drinking together earlier that evening when Mr Sebele later refused to share his beer with Dube, leading to the attack.

Matabeleland South police spokesperson Inspector Philisani Ndebele confirmed the incident.

“I can confirm that a man is battling for life after he was stabbed all over his body. He was rushed to Plumtree District Hospital where he is receiving treatment,” he said.
