from Hwange.
The centre was launched on Wednesday ahead of the Institute’s 10th annual International Management Conference, which started in the resort town on the same day and ends today.
Zimbabwe Institute of Management registrar Mr Brian Janda unveiled the portfolio of products that will be available for students in the region.
The courses include three executive diplomas in Business Leadership, General Management and Applied Strategy.
The Victoria Falls centre will also offer Advanced Diplomas in Security Management and Environmental Health and Safety.
Other courses on offer are a Higher Diploma in Business Administration, Diplomas in Project Management and Supervision Management, and a wide range of management development programmes targeting managers at the various levels.
“All our programmes are individually accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, which is a reflection of their high quality.
“They are also structured in such a way that the learner moves progressively from the basic levels of management to the highest levels,” said Mr Janda.
The co-ordination of the institute’s activities in Victoria Falls is anticipated to provide relief for students from the town and nearby Hwange who have had to com- mute over 400km to Bulawayo for tutorials and examinations.
The Zimbabwe Institute of Management is one of the leading management schools in the country with two main branches in Harare and Bulawayo, as well as centres in Kariba and now Victoria Falls.
The institute’s management revealed plans to open another centre in Mutare by year-end.
