City were declared guilty on all but one of the 115 charges they have been facing since 2023 following a four-year investigation by an independent commission.
However, sanctions have yet to be finalised as Man City continue to maintain their innocence and plan to appeal.
Breaches of Uefa’s Financial Fair Play regulations and the Prem’s own Profitability and Sustainability Rules were also among the charges. City are facing severe consequences, such as points deductions, fines and even EXPULSION from the English top flight.
And according to data specialists OLBG, the Citizens could owe domestic rivals more than £527million in lost Premier League prize money if officials decided to make them cough up for it. The theoretical figures are based from the 2011/12 campaign up until last season.
They are calculated by working out the extra cash each team would have got if City were taken out of the table. In most cases it would mean teams moving up a spot every season and therefore getting a larger share of the prize money clubs get, which increases the higher a team finishes.
Last term’s figures are estimates as the Premier League has not yet published official payments for the 2025/26 campaign.
And the numbers suggest Man City could owe a total of £527,935,464 after the guilty verdict, if such a punishment was enforced. Everton would be highest recipients as they could be due a staggering £28,944,186.
And City’s biggest rivals Manchester United could get the second largest sum worth a whopping £28,118,305.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool may be owed over £20m EACH from their Premier League foe.
Man City chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak maintains the club’s innocence and insists they will be cleared of all charges on appeal.
And some within the legal industry believe that even if their appeal fails they could take matters to the High Court.
