Man’s body found with missing parts

THE  body of an unknown man was on Wednesday found pushed between rocks in a cave in Magamba grazing lands in Chivhu, with some body parts missing in a suspected ritual murder.

Police have since launched investigations.

The body was found with the left foot and right big toe missing.

Police recovered blood-stained grey trousers and a green golf-shirt a few metres away from the body.

National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the body was taken to a local hospital mortuary for post mortem.

In January, a body of an unknown man was found at a farm in Norton with private parts missing.

 The body was found lying in a maize field with also a deep wound on the right thigh and bruises all over the body at Herren Hausen Farm in Norton.

In Bindura, gold panners recently discovered human remains at Botha Mine.

In March, police in Harare found the body of a 32-year-old woman in a maize field in Waterfalls. 

The body was found with bruises on the knees and a deep cut on the nose. A Huawei cell-phone and a plastic bag containing $210 and US$1 cash were found on the scene.
