BOXING promoter Charles Manyuchi has received a major boost from prominent businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei.

Senator Tagwirei donated $200 000 to the former World Boxing Council Silver welterweight champion who now runs an Academy which is promoting the Trabablas Boxing Tournament that is also being sponsored by Sakunda Holdings.

Three boxers who won belts at the latest edition of the Trabablas Boxing Tournament, Revai Madondo, Alice Mbewe and Marlon Chivero, received $5 000.
