ZIMBABWE women cricket team captain Precious Marange is expected to join the squad this morning in camp as the side intensifies preparations for the tour of South Africa.
The team has been in camp since Tuesday and coach, Trevor Phiri, said they were looking forward to having her in the side.
The team is expected to leave for South Africa on Monday as part of their preparations for the International Cricket Council Women’s Cricket Regional Qualifiers.

They will play friendly matches against the Western Province women team, starting next Thursday, and complete their tour in Cape Town on November 5. Phiri said Marange had been tied up with commitments when the camp began this week.

“Marange is expected to captain the team in Cape Town and she is going to join the squad this morning.
“Her presence in the team is welcome. She had other commitments, that is why she did not join us on the first day of camp,” said Phiri.
